AMRC is an environmental consulting firm located in Fort Myers, Florida, which has been in business since 1984. We provide environmental consulting, engineering and contracting services to clients throughout Florida. We are looking for a full-time (40-hr/week) Director of Financial Operations to join a close team of individuals that is highly committed to superior customer service and quality work product. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and be comfortable interacting with staff and clients as needed. The position will require day-to-day accounting demands, organizational tasks and the facilitation of efficiency within the office.

Experience and Skills Required:
· QuickBooks experience (greater than 3 years)
· Excellent interpersonal and general business communication skills
· Strong analytical, computer, and written skills
· Microsoft applications (QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Power Point)
· Great organization and project management skills
· Must be able to work well in a team environment
· Ability to work under deadlines
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables ensuring accurate and timely processing, petty cash, employee expense reports, payroll processing and corporate payroll tax compliance
· Manage new hire paperwork and keep employee files updated throughout the year
· Timely obtainment of all vendor, supplier, subcontractor lien releases
· Conduct and oversee monthly job cost/project costs. Provide billing and projection goals to President on a monthly basis
· Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis and reporting including company financials, and profitability
· Complete oversight and assistance with company’s CPA in all tax returns and documents required, including annual outside audit and tax planning
· Managing Credit Card expenses and reconciliation
· Oversight and responsibility of employee retirement plans and health Insurance benefits
· Obtain all insurance quotes on annual basis to ensure adequate and most competitive policies are in place
· Prepare, review, and revise as necessary yearly costs including project analysis by class and by service
· Weekly/Biweekly payroll for staff of 18 professionals and 15 labor workers
· Weekly Temp Labor company Payroll/Timesheets
· Work with the Director of Operations and the Director of Remediation to pay attention to job profitability and provide information on upcoming bids/proposals
· Background searches when needed
· Conduct annual workers comp audit
· Keeping vendor Certificate of insurance/workers comp updated
· Specialty billing for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the Engineering Department
· Tracking Purchase Orders with updated bid rates for all government entities
· For our out-of-town projects research hotels and make reservations
