Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This role requires a quick-thinking, adaptable professional capable of providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assessing and treating patients of all ages, from minor injuries to critically ill conditions, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages with varying medical conditions.
- Develop individualized care plans with expected outcomes based on patient needs.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols.
- Prioritize and manage multiple patient cases simultaneously.
- Provide follow-up care instructions and make necessary referrals.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last year).
- Active RN license in the State of Florida or multistate licensure (or ability to obtain before start).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
- Certifications (Required within 90 days of employment):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – required before start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ACLS Instructor.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or PALS Instructor.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI).
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range:
- 0-1 Year of Experience: $26.40 - $27.72/hr
- 7-8 Years of Experience: $34.32/hr
- 15 Years of Experience: Up to $39.60/hr
- Sign-on Bonus: Up to $15,000
