Manager of Diagnostic Imaging
Schedule: Full-time * Days (No Weekends)
Job Summary:
The Manager of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality imaging services, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. This role includes managing personnel, resources, and department policies while optimizing efficiency and patient care. The manager will also be responsible for budgetary planning, staff development, and implementing process improvements to enhance department performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operational needs of the diagnostic imaging department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and maintain department policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Manage departmental budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Oversee scheduling, workflow, and patient care processes to optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives.
- Address and resolve any operational challenges or patient concerns.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or vocational/technical training in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Active ARRT certification.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a hospital setting (preferred).
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Compensation:
- 0 to 9 years of experience: $75,982.40 – $93,017.60 annually.
- 10 to 21 years of experience: $94,993.60 – $113,984 annually (based on years of experience).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $76,000.00 - $113,000.00 per year
