Job Summary

This position is a key senior management position responsible for all areas of assigned operations and requires heavy involvement in the oversight, approval and planning processes of the following areas; cost efficiency, maintaining staffing levels, monitoring and improving levels of productivity and quality, providing senior management with vital reports and maintain a P&L for the warehouse and operations.

Essential Job Functions

· Drive, review, development and implementation of operational process to increase productivity and reduce cost

· Accountable for warehouse operations, including but not limited to, introduce and expand consistent operation practices across the business to significantly improve productivity, quality, and profitability

· Provide analysis of business results to Executive Management on a periodic basis

· Participate in the strategic planning process of operations

· Plan and review upgrade systems and procedures

· Identify, analyze and make recommendations to correct and mitigate ongoing problems

· Responsible for monitoring agreed operating metrics regarding units processed per hour, quality levels, and revenue per hour and revenue per square foot.

· Meet and or exceed Service Level Agreements per client contracts.

· Operate within budget and control facility operating cost

· Responsible for all inbound/outbound transportation operations

· Establish and modify as necessary, all policies and procedures for operation departments

· Generate purchase requests for materials required for operations

· Provide time and motion pricing to the sales department

· Responsible for safety, training & guidelines

· Review client pricing and contractual commitments to assure compliance.

Job Specifications – includes Education, physical and mental demands, and working conditions

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations management, with a track record of successful leadership
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field a Plus.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, a team builder, leader, coach & motivator
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written presentation skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Excel, word, power point, and experience with working with WMS systems
• Experience in shipping consumer product to retail, distribution centers, and direct to consumer. Including the accompanying skills of EDI labeling, charge back avoidance, routing guide adherence, multi shipper/courier environment including
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
