Receiving Supervisor

Job Description:

The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the proper receipt of raw materials, finished goods, and/or equipment. This individual will be the first point of contact with the customer and will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of professional service.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure all incoming materials are identified and identified accurately.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products in stock.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products in backorder.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of all products in back-out.
• Verify and confirm the receipt of materials with customers.
• Verify and confirm the receipt of finished goods with customers.
• Ensure that all raw material, finished goods, and equipment are properly labeled and stored.
• Ensure that all inventory is accounted for on daily basis.
• Ensure that all records are kept on required forms.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication skills – verbal & written.
• Strong customer service skills – both friendly and professional.
• Ability to problem solve quickly and independently while maintaining a positive attitude towards teammates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, work in tight spaces (e.g., heights), bend, twist, stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, drive a vehicle, and operate computer equipment including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), UPS & USPS equipment (printer & scanner), forklift & hand truck.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.55 per hour
