**National Sales Manager Role Summary**

This position involves helping family farms modernize and secure their future by leading and guiding sales teams, building relationships with dealers and customers, streamlining sales processes, and providing solution-based consulting to dairy farm teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help modernize family farms and secure their future.
  • Lead and guide U.S. capital sales reps and PA regional sales team to achieve unique sales goals and foster growth.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with dealers and customers by understanding their needs.
  • Streamline sales processes to enhance efficiency and drive results.
  • Lead regular sales meetings with regional reps and dealership teams to ensure alignment and track performance.
  • Provide solution-based consulting to dairy farm teams, making tailored recommendations.
  • Stay current on equipment and innovations to offer customers the best solutions.
  • Generate leads, engage prospects, and close sales.
  • Ensure accountability within the sales team, placing the right talent in the right roles.
  • Collaborate with the direct sales team to achieve company goals.
  • Conduct on-site operational tours to showcase products and build relationships.
  • Serve as the brand representative at trade shows, conferences, and dealer meetings.
  • Manage the CRM, tracking customer interactions and exploring optimization opportunities.
  • Travel 75% of the time, including 50% overnight travel.

As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across multiple regions, mentoring a dynamic team, and championing cutting-edge technology that supports the dairy farming community.

Requirements:

  • 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of dairy farming seasons and trends.
  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry, equipment sales, and precision dairy equipment is a plus.
  • Capable of mentoring and motivating sales teams to achieve their goals and drive success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with team members and customers.
  • Able to inspire and energize sales reps, lighting a fire under them to perform at their best.
  • Skilled at initiating new relationships and fostering long-term connections with customers, dealers, and partners.
  • Able to work independently, set priorities, and manage time effectively to meet goals.
  • Embodies Galaxy's commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and faith-based values.
  • Deeply invested in saving family farms and helping modernize operations for long-term success.
  • Driven to achieve individual and company-wide sales targets, consistently striving for growth.
  • Proficient in basic computer use with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use a CRM system.
  • Able to walk around farms and drive for extended periods.
