Responsibilities
- Analyze drawings and specifications to identify materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs for ductwork systems and mechanical equipment.
- Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients.
- Prepare, coordinate, and evaluate subcontractor bid packages.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in mechanical construction estimating.
- Previous experience estimating commercial projects.
- Computer estimating software experience, including QuickPen AutoBid.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (i.e. Word, Excel, Project).
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
