Housekeeper/Laundry

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas while ensuring that all laundry services are performed to the highest standards. Your commitment to cleanliness and resident satisfaction will contribute significantly to the overall experience of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Launder and clean linens, towels, and other items as required, ensuring they are fresh and presentable.
• Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a long term care or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
