Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential resident care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that residents receive high-quality medical attention. This role requires a strong understanding of resident assessment, anatomy, and medical-surgical procedures, as well as adherence to HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct resident care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct thorough resident assessments to monitor health status and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in urgent care situations and provide support in inpatient settings.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate residents and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.
- Participate in emergency response situations, when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current RN/LPN license in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, resident care techniques, and medical-surgical practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate resident-centered care.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining resident confidentiality.
