What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Cleaner position at AMS of Sioux Falls, SD?
Sign-on Bonus $500 - we are a part-time South Dakota family owned business. Looking for good people to join our team. Current shift is evening Monday - Friday start time is 1 am to approximately 3:30am. Must have a clean background and must be 18 or older.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment, such as buffing machines, is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
