JOB TITLE : Senior Staff Engineer
Responsibilities
Performs detailed analog circuit design at transistor level which includes SPICE (Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis), Process / Voltage / Temperature, Monte Carlo and Mixed Signal electrical simulations.
Reviews block performance specifications and creates detailed simulation plans.
Performs circuit solution concept and architecture creation using behavioral modeling and mathematical theoretical modeling.
Directs floor planning and layout activities with physical design layout team ensuring optimized performance solutions.
Documents circuit design solution performance summary reports for design review with peers.
Investigates existing solutions for next generation optimization ideals.
Reviews engineering design conference journals for new architecture concepts and ideas.
Participates in team circuit design reviews. Interacts with team members for idea sharing and lessons learned sharing.
Minimum Requirements
Masters in Electrical Engineering with 4 years of Analog Circuit Design experience.
Three (3) years of experience to include : (1) Circuit Design and Simulation; and (2) Utilizing Computer Aided Design tool, Cadence Virtuoso.
One (1) year of experience to include : Utilizing Scripting language (Ocean, Linux, or Perl).
Work Environment
Work Site : 5556 Tennyson Parkway, Plano, Texas 75024; Hybrid work policy w / in commuting distance; 40 hours / week;
