Our premier law firm client is seeking a Medical Malpracttice Associate.This client offers attractive compensation, high level work and a top-notch bonus plan.You will experience working on very large cases and not have to work in a large law firm environment.
Responsibilities :
Handle a diverse caseload involving personal injury, medical malpractice, police misconduct, product liability and insurance bad faith litigation.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
Draft, review and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions and briefs.
Represent clients in court, including trials, hearings, depositions and mediations.
Negotiated settlements on behalf of clients.
Collaborate with the legal team including paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management and the best outcome for clients.
Keep up to date with knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and legal precendents.
Provide clients with clear and timely communication regarding their case.
Participate in firm marketing and business development activities.
Qualifications :
JD from accredited law school.
Admitted in Ohio in good standing.
At least five years of experience in medical malpractice work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
