About the Role:
As a Nurse Practitioner in our Health Care Services organization, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality and comprehensive healthcare to patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, focusing on family medicine, pain management, and clinical assessments. Your expertise in patient safety and nursing will be essential in ensuring the well-being of our patients. By utilizing your skills in trauma care, you will be able to provide immediate and effective interventions in emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of employment.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience in family medicine, pain management, and clinical assessments.
- Knowledge of geriatric and pediatric care.
- Strong understanding of patient safety principles.
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in trauma care and emergency medicine.
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of practice.
- Experience in a primary care setting.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
