General Description: Provides technical support regarding Group 1 and 2 sUAS in the Family of Unmanned Aerial Systems (FoUAS) to the Air Vehicle Requirements Branch (AVRB) in support of capabilities analysis, requirements generation, and budgeting.
Specific Duties: Provides technical support to the AVRB for the development of Marine Corps/Joint capabilities documents and support of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution PPBE process.
- Ensures the successful execution of AVRB equities within the Marine Corps and Joint capabilities development systems;
- Performs a variety of complex analytical tasks associated with JUONS and JCIDS Documentation on AVRB Systems;
- Supports the Branch Head and CIOs with document preparation, e.g., Information Papers, White Papers, Congressional inquiries and stakeholder briefs;
- Provide technical analysis of proposed systems and review doctrine and documents for AVRB concepts and capabilities;
- Works with stakeholders to solve capability requirements problems by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT);
- Responds to taskers and tracks document routing and related actions;
- Coordinate meetings and track subsequent action items.
Requirements:
- Ability to interact daily with the Marine Corps customer in a dynamic, fast paced environment, including multi-tasking and prioritizing requirements;
- Knowledge of DOTMLPF analysis, JCIDS Capabilities documentation development, Universal Needs, Urgent Universal Needs, Deliberate Universal Needs (UNS/UUNS/DUNS) statements;
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral);
- Background in Marine Corps Operations, to include MAGTF operations and staff integration desired;
- Experience with capabilities development desired;
- Marine Corps Aviation Maintenance experience desired;
- Group 1 and 2 sUAS experience is a definite plus;
- Former Action Officer at MCCDC or HQMC with knowledge of Marine Corps operations and staffing processes is a definite plus;
- Knowledge of Marine Corps operating systems including the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS), is a plus.
