As a Senior Research & Development Chemist at AMSOIL INC., you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new formulations and products that meet current and future business needs. The role requires a lead technical contributor who can drive development projects, define project approach, and utilize fundamental or applied research as necessary to improve technical understanding and enable concept maturation to product commercialization.
You will be responsible for developing knowledge base and implementing ideas into product development projects, understanding industry trends and company needs to enable new product development, and leading and managing technical projects using project management skills to scope projects and drive to results.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related science, along with 5-10 years of experience in chemistry, formulation, and/or product development. Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills, as well as experience with computers and Microsoft Office programs, are also essential.
