We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and assisting with data collection and analysis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a industry leading laboratory and make a meaningful impact in the Petroleum field.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory tests following established protocols
- Prepare samples and specimens for analysis
- Perform data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Maintain accurate records of tests, samples and results
- Assist with the development of testing protocols and procedures
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and established ASTM IP
Testing procedures and Practices
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a testing laboratory setting is preferred
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of ASTM and IP methods or ability to learn and follow procedures
- Strong mathematical skills for data analysis
- Ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
