About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC operator to join our team at Amsted Automotive Group in Shelby Twp, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machining centers and supporting the elimination of waste within our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machining centers safely and efficiently.
- Set up and install fixtures according to program specifications.
- Repair and troubleshoot machinery in their cell area.
- Conduct quality checks on production and report any defects to supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of CNC machines and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with workplace machinery and computer systems.
- Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteria.
