What are the responsibilities and job description for the NC/CNC Operator C - 2nd Shift position at Amsted Rail Company?

· Run one or two NC/CNC machines. |
|
· Change machine tools as necessary. |
|
· Inspect parts to required tolerances and specifications per in-process inspection and/or engineering drawing and or visual requirements. Operator finishes parts to appropriate quality standards. |
|
· Perform routine maintenance to equipment. |
|
· Accurately enter time and labor reporting daily. |
|
· Work safely and maintain a clean work area. |
|
· Perform minor assembly functions as required. |
|
· Maintain acceptable levels of production. |
|
· Report equipment and or material problems. |
|
Qualifications include · HS Diploma or equivalent. |
|
· Basic math and reading skills. |
|
· Ability to stand for approximately 10 hours per day. |
|
· Ability to lift a minimum of 85 lbs. approximately 5 - 10 times per hour.
