Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Amsterdam Nursing Home in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
Duties:
- Observe residents' physical and emotional needs, reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, shaving, and dressing.
- Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake.
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements.
- Make beds and maintain a clean and tidy living space.
- Transport residents within the facility safely and efficiently.
- Turn bedridden residents regularly to prevent bedsores.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF A CNA PROGRAM.
- Current CNA State Certification.
- In good standing with State Registry.
