At Amsterdam Nursing Home, we are committed to delivering exceptional care to our residents. Our skilled nursing facility in New York City is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our night shift team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collecting information from new residents for admission
- Recording vital signs and health details of residents
- Administering medications and injections as needed
- Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as required
- Supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) if necessary
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene and getting dressed
- Monitoring food and liquid intake and output
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Valid NY State LPN license
- Good standing with the State Registry
What We Offer:
Competitive compensation package including a base rate of $35.38 plus an additional 10% shift differential for evening and nights. A non-union rate of $45/hour is also available. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time employment, and we welcome new graduates.
