What are the responsibilities and job description for the Training Coordinator position at AmSty?
Overview : The Training Coordinator is responsible for the development and improvement of existing training programs at the St. James Plant with the primary focus on front line Operations & Maintenance personnel to include hands on instruction. This role will also be a resource in determining appropriate training criteria / materials that coincide with role competencies with a focus on performance beyond compliance.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Enhances Front Line Craft Performance - works with Plant Technical Experts (Technical Advisors, Engineers, Specialist) and Learning / Development designers (3rd party) to improve Operations and Maintenance training programs
- Enhances Front Line Supervision - works with Corporate Human Resources to identify and execute training programs that improve the effectiveness of front-line supervision
- Prioritization of Resources - works with Training Manager / Administrator to perform gate reviews to both ensure training load meets St. James personnel capacity while also scrutinizing / prioritizing training commensurate with job duties / responsibilities
