We blend high-tech with high-touch in ways that are advancing superior health care throughout the communities we serve.The Trinity Surgery Center is a 15,000-square-foot facility that houses four fully equipped surgical suites, three endoscopy procedure rooms, a 20-bed preoperative and postoperative area and more than 50 multispecialty physician providers.We are currently searching for a Full Time Operating Room (OR) Charge Nurse to work Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. No on-call required! Major responsibilities include :
- Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills.
- Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
- Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
- Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members.
- Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse.
- Required Experience includes :
- 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional / Procedural
- Preferred Experience includes :
- 1 year Interventional / Perioperative Internship
- Hospital Nursing Required Education includes :
- Hired / Promoted on / after 5 / 1 / 2019 - BSN required
- Hired / Promoted between 1 / 1 / 2016 and 4 / 30 / 2019 - completion of BSN or BS related field required within 3 years of hire / promotion date.
- Hired / Promoted before 1 / 1 / 2016 - BSN or BS related field or RN Certification in related field.
- Ambulatory Surgery Required Education includes :
- Hired / Promoted on / after 4 / 01 / 2021 - BSN required.
- Hired / promoted before 4 / 1 / 2021, certification achieved within 18 months of 4 / 1 / 21 or a Bachelor's in Nursing achieved within 3 years of 4 / 1 / 21 and proof of enrollment in a BSN program within 6 months of 4 / 1 / 21 is required.BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including :
