What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Office Specialist position at AMSURG, LLC?
Full Time M-F 0730 to 4pm
No Holidays, No Weekends, No Call
We are currently searching for a Full Time Receptionist/ Insurance Verifier/ Medical Records Scanner to work Mondays - Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: welcoming patients and visitors, collecting patient identification cards and insurance information, updating patient accounts, collecting copayments and deductibles, recording payments in the billing system and other administrative duties; must have ability to multi-task in a high energy environment.
Hours are 0730 to 4pm Monday - Friday
You must possess a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience in a medical office is preferred, ability to speak and understand the English language, strong ethical and moral character references, and excellent telephone and basic computer skills. Medical office and Insurance verification experience required.
