Full time Endoscopy Scope Reprocessing Technician - mainly works in reprocessing department and recovery area
Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and Saturdays 7:00am-12:00pm
APPLICANTS: Surgical Technician, Central Processing Technician, Endoscopy Technician, Scope Technician, Endoscope Reprocessing Technician, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants are encouraged to apply. This position is responsible for cleaning and reprocessing endoscopes, setting up procedure rooms, assisting RNs and other duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or GED.
- One to two years of Central Processing or aseptic technique certificate/experience preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to follow all protocols and instructions carefully and consistently
- Good eye to hand coordination
- A sound understanding of the English language and ability to clearly communicate within a multidisciplinary arena
- Display a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness to co-workers
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with physicians and all medical professionals
- Ability to maintain and comply with patient confidentiality and integrity policy
WORKING CONDITIONS: The job involves a large amount of time spent walking, standing, and routine lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. We have a fun and close-knit staff and the physicians are great to work with.
