What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Technician (Part Time) position at AMSURG, LLC?
Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient facility located in New Castle County, Delaware. The center is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare-Certified. The center offers patients a more convenient, comfortable and safe alternative for their GI needs. At Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures that visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestines without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay. The procedures performed at the center, include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoid banding, pH Probe studies, sacral nerve stimulation, and upper endoscopy. The 5,600 square foot endoscopy center offers a fully-equipped operating room, a recovery room, a spacious waiting room, and a full array of amenities to make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.
We are currently searching for a Part Time Endoscopy Technician to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: cleaning procedure rooms; assisting physicians; processing scopes; restocking and changing over rooms; performing housekeeping duties and assisting in maintenance of all supplies.
You must possess a HS school diploma/GED and a BLS certification.
