What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Technician position at AMSURG, LLC?
University Endoscopy Center (UEC) is an ambulatory surgical center located in the historical area of Montgomery, Ohio. UEC specializes in and exclusively provides endoscopy procedures to adults in an outpatient setting. In December 1996, AmSurg and the Cincinnati ASC, LLC, began a joint partnership, developing the UEC. Procedures began in December 1997 with a staff of five. Currently UEC operates with a staff of 15, and one of the staff members has worked there since the beginning. In addition, UEC has 13 physicians who are credentialed to use the facility. The center sets a high standard with being JCAHO accredited from 1998-2007 and then becoming accredited with AAAHC from 2007 to the present. UEC offers a high level of clinical service and customer satisfaction.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Endoscopy Technician to work Monday – Friday who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, energetic and willing to learn. If you are a hardworking, reliable and positive person, we welcome you to our team. Major responsibilities include: preparing and turning over procedure rooms; assisting physicians during procedures; processing endoscopes; restocking; performing some housekeeping duties and assisting in maintenance of all supplies.
You must possess a HS school diploma/GED and BLS certification.
