What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Shipping/Receiving position at AMSURG, LLC?
The Endoscopy Center at Voorhees has multiple GI endoscopy procedure rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment. We are confident that patients will find The Endo Center at Voorhees to be a very pleasant, safe and convenient alternative to hospital-based endoscopy. Our procedures include colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, peripheral nerve evaluations, and upper endoscopies.
We are currently seeking a Full time individual to handle Shipping/Receiving of Medical Materials at our Ambulatory Surgical Center. Candidate who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. You will be responsible for receiving all items coming into the facility.
- Before signing to accept orders, you will verify that all goods are free from signs of damage or contamination, and that the bill of lading agrees with the package count. After verification, you will sign the bill of lading and accept the order.
- You will check items against the packing slip to ensure you have received everything and if applicable, you will match the packing slip to the PO.
- You will maintain all clean and organized supply areas.
- Daily lifting required
Candidate must demonstrate cooperative work attitude toward and with employees, physicians, management, contract service providers and vendors. Consistently interacts in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative and professional. Shipping/Receiving experience a plus.
