Receptionist (Part Time)

Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient facility located in New Castle County, Delaware. The center is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare-Certified. The center offers patients a more convenient, comfortable and safe alternative for their GI needs. At Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures that visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestines without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay. The procedures performed at the center, include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoid banding, pH Probe studies, sacral nerve stimulation, and upper endoscopy. The 5,600 square foot endoscopy center offers a fully-equipped operating room, a recovery room, a spacious waiting room, and a full array of amenities to make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.

We are currently searching for Part Time (24 Hour) Receptionist to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.  Key responsibilities include welcoming patients and visitors, collecting patient identification cards and insurance information, updating patient accounts, collecting copayments and deductibles, recording payments in the billing system other administrative duties; must have ability to multi-task.

You must possess a high school diploma or GED, one year of experience (preferably in an Ambulatory Surgery Center), experience in Endoscopy/Multi-specialty/ Ophthalmology/ ASC, ability to speak and understand the English language, strong ethical and moral character references, and excellent telephone and basic computer skills.
