The Center for Digestive Endoscopy’s dedicated staff has helped thousands in the Orlando community since opening its doors in 2002. The outpatient, state-of-the-art endoscopic facility specializes in colon cancer screening and diseases involving the digestive tract. Orlando Business Journal recently ranked us the first largest freestanding ambulatory surgery center in Central Florida.
We are currently searching for a Full Time Registered Nurse to work either four 10 hour shifts or five 8 hour shifts Monday – Friday, who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks in pre-op/post-op. Major responsibilities include: prepare patients for procedures; possibly assist the physician during procedures; provide care for patients in preop and postop and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a RN/LPN, maintain basic cardiac life support certification for the LPN and ACLS/BLS for the RN , and have at least two years of experience.
