Quality Technician
The Quality Technician supports and executes functions of AMT’s Quality Management System such as alloy qualification, supplier certifications, MRB, certificates of conformity, part routing review, work instructions, calibration, and first article inspection.
Responsibilities
- Support and work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Operations personnel and processes.
- Support PCS Review for accurate structuring and updating of part records. Includes new part set up, PCS updates and ECN tracking.
- Review and file vendor certification reports and data.
- Prepare and review AMT generated certifications of conformity per specifications and customer requirements.
- Thorough understanding of alloy specifications and link to customer requirements.
- Assist in qualification of all alloys to include chemistry and mechanical testing and any subsequent heat treat processing.
- Participate in the FAI process including ballooning of all engineering drawings, dimensional review, process adherence, and specification requirements.
- Review contract/purchase order requirements and associated customer quality specifications.
- Generate work instructions, general instructions, and participate in training to ensure process and specification compliance.
- Oversight of complete, accurate, and updated part file records (A-folder)
- Participation in continuous improvement activities.
- Support AS9100 compliance and readiness across the facility.
- Other QA related tasks and assignments as required.
Qualifications

- 2-5 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
Reporting
- Reports to the Quality Manager.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday - Friday, ~7AM – 3:30PM.
- 100% on site.
- The position splits time between a manufacturing environment and an office environment. The ratio of time spent in each area will vary. Regular daily shop floor time is expected.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
