What You’ll Do:

As an Inventory Services Associate, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inventory Management: Oversee consumables, chemicals, samples, and more, ensuring accurate inventory control and movement on and off-site.

• Customer Service: Communicate directly with customers to fulfill requests, provide reporting, and maintain metrics.

• Purchasing Support: Manage back orders, expedite shipments, handle quotes, and resolve pricing or invoice issues.

• Shipping Coordination: Prepare shipping documentation, handle hazardous materials, and operate warehouse equipment.

• Process Improvement: Develop programs to enhance service efficiencies and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, handle hazardous materials, and ensure compliance with IATA, DOT, IMDG, and OSHA regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

• Experience: 2 years in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with inventory systems like SAP, Avantor, or ChemSW.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of scientific products and services is a plus!

• Certifications: Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, IMDG, and OSHA Right to Know are highly desirable.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring walking, standing, bending, and reaching.
