Job Designation
The Production Assembler II is responsible for performing routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks under moderate guidance. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that products meet company quality standards and customer expectations while adhering to safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
- Inspect own work and/or the work of others to ensure compliance with company and customer drawings.
- Apply process specifications to production tasks within an assigned cell, including recording production time and quantities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area per company guidelines and participate in team events as required.
- Perform basic welding, brazing, soldering, or operate light machinery, such as sand blasters or press equipment.
- Demonstrate and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Job Specifications
Education:
- High School Diploma, Secondary Certificate, or equivalent education and work experience preferred.
Certifications:
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly.
Skills:
- Skilled in routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly tasks.
- Proficient in operating hand tools and light machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and company policies/procedures.
- Strong manual dexterity to work with small parts effectively.
- Problem-solving skills to address typical challenges within the work area and evaluate solutions from established options.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Salary : $20 - $23
