Job Description Job Description Job Title : Quality Control TechnicianPay rate : $19.00 an hour1st shift : 7 : 00 am -3 : 30 pm with some Saturdays and OTLocation : San Clemente, CAThe Quality Control Technician will be responsible for in-plant process testing and compliance with standards using quality and food safety policy.Perform tests of the production operations and equipment to ensure our products conform to specificationsDiscuss inspection results with those responsible for products and recommend necessary corrective actionsMonitor the quality of the product manufactured and inspect process control pointsReject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerancesResponsible for the timely completion and accuracy of paperworkMay use computer software and electronic equipment to enter dataEstablish, maintain, and promote good communication with all departmentsPerforms other tasks and duties as neededReject or retain substandard products that fall outside of defined tolerancesAble to perform essential math functions, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.Experience / EducationGeneral high school degree / GED or equivalent preferredPrior work in a related field would be an advantage.A certificate in Food Handling, Culinary Arts, or other related training or education is preferred.Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Must be 18 or older to apply as required for machinery and / or equipment utilizationBenefits : We offer medical / dental insurance after 30 days of employment and 401K with a match after 1 year.
