- Mechanical Assembly: Assemble and test a variety of moderately complex products to meet customer quality and delivery schedules.
- Subassembly & Detailing: May involve lock wiring, first stage subassembly, and final detailing.
- Lean Initiatives: Actively contribute to increasing productivity and reducing costs.
- Experience: 0-2 years in assembly within a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical reasoning and proficiency in selecting procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
- Basic Math & Computer Skills: Perform mathematical calculations and demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Lean Implementation: Knowledge of and ability to apply lean initiatives effectively.
- Certification: May require soldering certification per customer requirements.
- Team Development: Ability to participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
