Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with overtime and Saturday work as necessary
Essential Functions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions including precipitation, cold/heat, and high wind conditions. The Material Handler will be regularly exposed to the typical weather of the local area, including some work being performed outside -- the cold mornings of March, to the triple digit temperatures of August.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking and lifting up to 75 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day.

Preferred Education And Experience
Essential Functions
- Reads routing paperwork and performs work as assigned by department supervisor
- Drives a forklift
- Loads and unloads material from flatbed trucks
- Packages finished metal goods into boxes and onto pallets and wraps with shrink wrap
- Attaches appropriate labels and tags to products and packages
- Uses various power tools (ex. Drills, grinders, nail guns etc.)
- Cleans and inspects parts
- Collaborates with shipping team, quality control team and supervisors
- Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
- Maintains a clean and safe work area
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

- Previous production experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
Salary : $20 - $21
