Seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a growing company with $20 million in annual revenue. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will oversee the company's financial strategy, operations, and performance. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will ensure the organization's financial health, provide strategic direction, and deliver data-driven insights to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership :
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy to align with short-term and long- term business goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance.
- Identify and implement initiatives to drive profitability, mitigate risk, and optimize resource allocation.
Project Planning s Performance Monitoring :
Prepare and oversee project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track financial performance throughout project lifecycles.Track and evaluate project KPIs to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.Assess financial and operational risks, implementing mitigation strategies.Financial Analysis s Reporting :
Lead the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.Present actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.Oversee key metrics and KPIs to monitor company performance.Compliance s Accounting Operations :
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and federal, state, and local regulations.Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.Develop and maintain robust internal controls and policies.Procurement s Vendor Management :
Establish procurement policies to ensure efficiency and alignment with financial goals.Manage accounts payable processes and maintain accurate vendor payment records.Foster strong vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of disputes.Cash Management s Treasury Operations :
Implement cash management strategies to optimize working capital and maintain liquidity.Monitor daily cash flow and oversee cash forecasting.Collaborate with banking partners to enhance treasury operations.Internal Audit s Risk Management :
Develop and oversee comprehensive internal audit programs for operational and financial compliance.Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements across financial and operational areas.Tax Strategy s Compliance :
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.Implement tax optimization strategies to minimize liabilities.Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the company.Capital Management s MsA :
Manage the company's capital structure, including cash flow and debt facilities.Evaluate and execute financing options, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.Conduct due diligence and integration planning for mergers and acquisitions.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or similar role in a company with $10-$50 million in revenue (healthcare or related industry preferred).Expertise in raising capital, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions.Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making and mentor high-performing teams.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.High integrity, discretion, and organizational skills in managing multiple priorities in a fast- paced environment.Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and other financial tools.
