AmTECH Microelectronics, Inc. – Morgan Hill, CA
AmTECH provides Complex PCB Assembly and Advanced Microelectronics manufacturing services. We deliver superior quality, and engineering support to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Job Responsibilities:
- Travelers and issue Engineering Change Notifications or Deviations.
- Prepare softcopy documentation packages with Assembly Travelers, BOMs, Assembly Drawings, ECNs, BOMs and Gerber files.
- Generates hardcopy document binders including Assembly Travelers, Assembly Drawings, ECNs, for existing jobs.
- Works closely with customer service and other team members to update Assembly
- Move customer kits and supplies to stockroom and assembly area.
- Add shipping slips to outgoing packages and communicates essential information to AmTECH delivery driver.
- Files old documents and maintains record of completed jobs.
- Print out labels for manufacturing floor (Customer PNs, Serial Numbers, Revision Level, Date Codes, etc.)
- Comfort with cleanroom (10K) and controlled environment protocols (ESD).
- Maintains Assembly Traceability Log, as necessary.
- File paperwork travelers and ECN’s.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Associate degree preferred.
- 3-years work experience with Document Control or similar job.
- Experience with R&D and/or electronics manufacturing services environment.
- Computer skills, use of MS Office, Adobe, other software apps, and the internet.
- Process driven mentality for managing changes/updates to technical information.
- Experience with implementing and maintaining Product Lifecycle process, such as:
BOM Management, ECN, and Deviation processes in a production environment.
- Proven record working with an ERP system used for production operations.
Other Requirements:
- Perseverance, Initiative, Empathy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in electronics manufacturing industry is preferable.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 compliant processes is desirable.
- Must be a team player, ability to interface with other department team members.
