TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Operator I to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, uses visual aids and verbal or written instructions to perform simple and repetitive assembly or testing of assemblies or sub-assemblies. Operates manual or automated equipment to test or assemble product.
This position is Sunday-Wednesday ,5:00AM - 3:30PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Hand, automated, or mechanical assembly or testing of products to meet or exceed established quality standards
- Assembles products based on the documentation or instructions provided.
- Operates equipment such as the Hot plate welder, Ultrasonic welder, Computer Automated Tag Testing Systems using very simple computer software programs.
- Provides accurate data and/or information either electronically or handwritten as requested.
- General housekeeping of the workspace at the end of shift.
- Other operations may be required by management to meet production needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year related experience
- Must have good math skills
- Must be detail oriented and conscientious.
Desired Skills:
- Basic computer skills
Education:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
