Amteck Technologies specializes in the design, installation, testing, certification and support of structured cabling systems. This also includes systems installation and certification of fire alarms, paging/sound, CCTV and CATV. Requirements include but aren't limited to the below
- 1-2 years of verified experience with low voltage systems and cabling
- Knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for Low Voltage installations
- Must be able to read a measuring tape
- Able to travel to meet customer objectives when needed
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of customer relationships and the concept of customer satisfaction, with an aptitude for growing that skill
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below
- Install, maintain, and repair devices and cabling of low voltage systems in commercial and industrial buildings
- Work independently to install pathways
- Understand and adheres to BICSI, ANSI, TIA standards and NEC codes for low voltage installations
- Understand and use wire maps
- Terminate data jacks and mod plugs
