Job Title : Mainframe Developer / IMS
Location : Jersey City, Delaware, or Dallas, TX (3 Days onsite)
Duration : 12 months Contract
Job Summary :
Mainframe developers with extensive experience working in Banking and doing development with IMS DB, VSAM, JCL, Mainframe application development suits and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills.
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Hands on experience in IBM-Z / OS COBOL, CICS
- Experience with DB2 and IMS DB
- Experience with VSAM, JCL, Mainframe application development suits and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
