About the Role
Client is seeking a talented Support Engineer to join our team. As a Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support, installation, and troubleshooting for our Shipcom Ai-MicroCloud® platform. You will work closely with customers to ensure successful deployment, operation, and optimization of AI-powered solutions. Additionally, you will drive product demos, provide customer hand-holding during pre-sales and post-sales engagements, and deliver exceptional technical support to help our clients unlock the full potential of AI.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Installs the platform and associated apps, networks, servers and peripherals following the procedures
- Provides support for software, hardware and networking with the help of remote engineers
- Tests and certifies the platform, networks, servers and client approved applications
- Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
- Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanour and dress.
- Ensures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.
- Ensures client specific Service Level Agreements are met and incident and request tickets are updated accordingly within the ticketing system
- Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Develop and maintain user documentation and guides for common tasks and troubleshooting procedures
- Travel to various client or company locations to provide on-site technical assistance.
Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in Servers, Linux applications, Kubernetes, Docker and network protocols
- Ability to test, troubleshoot and certify approved software applications and associated peripherals
- Knowledge of client specific internal procedures and service delivery requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
- Excellent analytical and client communication skills
- Client and/or governmental clearance may be required once converted to a permanent role.
