Job Title: Ultrasound Technician
Location: Parker, AZ
Employment Type: Contract
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (No call)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to perform two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of diseases and assessment of organ function. The ideal candidate will actively participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct two-dimensional ultrasonic imaging procedures for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostic information.
- Participate in CQI activities to improve processes and patient outcomes.
- Maintain knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to the position.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree (preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Specific experience and training in Ultrasound preferred.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARDMS.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills (additional languages preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge.
