ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operate production equipment, clean and sanitize equipment and workspace, and other manual labor tasks as needed or assigned daily within the plant.
This position is assigned to our Production Department and requires excellent attendance, workplace behavior, and self-motivation to learn and develop new skills to create cross training opportunities within our production department. The daily work is determined by the business need to include operating equipment, set-up, breakdown, clean-up, sanitation, and other manual labor duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read all documents in the department; ability to speak effectively to all employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

May be required to lift and move up to 20 pounds. Job may require repetitive motion such as feeding sheets or strips with arm and wrist motions. Job requires standing at all times and some flexibility performing certain tasks, such as bending and kneeling.
