Overview
The Director, Product Strategy is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives that leverage third-party data, innovative technologies, and analytics to enhance AmTrust's Commercial Lines offerings. This role works closely with internal partners across Product, Underwriting, Automation, Data & Analytics, Actuary, Claims, and Legal to identify opportunities that drive growth, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making processes. The Director will play a key role in evaluating data partnerships, implementing solutions, and supporting the alignment of product strategies with enterprise goals.
Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and support the implementation of third-party data solutions to enhance underwriting, pricing, and claims processes.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven initiatives that improve decision-making and operational outcomes.
- Analyze product performance, market trends, and external data sources to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and product enhancement.
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership based on market insights and analysis.
- Support the development and execution of annual product innovation roadmaps and priorities in alignment with enterprise strategies.
- Partner with Product and Underwriting teams to identify new features, workflows, and enhancements that leverage third-party data.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Underwriting, Data Science, Claims, and Technology teams, to align strategies and execute on key projects.
- Participate in data governance initiatives to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Manage and lead cross-functional projects that support product innovation and operational efficiency.
- Develop key performance metrics to monitor project outcomes and report progress to senior leadership.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and analysis to communicate findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Translate complex data-driven solutions into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support the development of workflows and processes that improve data utilization, reduce redundancy, and create consistency across Product Management and Underwriting.
