Counter Sales Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with their purchases, managing transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for sales.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system.
- Provide information about products, promotions, and services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Upsell additional products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked counter area to ensure product availability.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and stock management.

Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
- Experience in a grocery store setting is a plus but not required.
