Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to oversee and manage construction activities on educational and municipal projects throughout Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in K-12 and higher education construction, with experience working on projects for Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) and other municipal clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring project timelines, safety, and quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of work.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, site-specific protocols, and company standards.
- Utilize Procore for project management, documentation, and communication (Procore experience is a plus).
- Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and progress updates with project stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
- Address and resolve any on-site challenges to minimize delays and cost impacts.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial construction, specifically K-12, higher education, and municipal projects.
- Strong tenure in previous roles, demonstrating reliability and career progression.
- Knowledge of OCPS project requirements and standards is highly preferred.
- Experience using Procore or similar project management software is a major plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project specifications, and technical documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
