Summary
The Earthwork Superintendent will play a pivotal role in overseeing Site development projects from inception to completion. This position is essential for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget, contributing to our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
Project scope: Multifamily and commercial Site development, primarily through the private sector.
Expectations: 4 years experience running Private projects, specifically the Excavating, Cut & Fill, Mass grade, Mass hauling, Fine / Finish Grading.
experience running 4-5 projects concurrently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Manage project schedules and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management software, including ProCore and HeavyBid.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings effectively.
- Excellent budgeting skills with experience managing project finances.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards on construction sites.
- Demonstrated ability in project scheduling and coordination of multiple tasks.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
