- Resource Allocation: Coordinating equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
Site Supervision
- On-Site Management: Overseeing day-to-day grading and earthwork activities, including excavation, backfilling, and leveling.
- Monitoring Progress: Ensuring work is progressing on schedule and meets quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Addressing unexpected site conditions, such as soil instability or utility conflicts.
Technical Oversight
- Equipment Management: Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of grading equipment like bulldozers, graders, and excavators.
- Survey Coordination: Working with surveyors to verify grades, elevations, and alignments.
- Quality Control: Ensuring grading meets design tolerances and compaction specifications.
Safety and Compliance
