We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion, with a focus on the underground utilities, water sewer and storm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be adept at managing multiple tasks while ensuring quality control and adherence to safety standards. This role requires effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce management.
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of schematics, pipeline systems, and construction processes.
- Proficient in using construction management software, including Prolog and Bluebeam.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership capabilities with effective communication skills to liaise with diverse teams.
