Superintendent

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations for underground utility installation, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise and coordinate multiple crews, including foremen, pipe layers, and equipment operators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications to ensure proper installation and compliance with project requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to resolve field issues and ensure quality control.
• Enforce company and OSHA safety standards, ensuring a safe work environment.
• Manage project scheduling, material deliveries, and subcontractors to maximize efficiency.
• Track and report job progress, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
• Train and mentor field staff to enhance performance and career growth.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in underground utilities (water, sewer, storm drain), with at least 3 years in a Superintendent role.
• Proven ability to lead crews on large-scale site development and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, pipe laying, and dewatering techniques.
• Experience working with municipalities, DOT projects, or private land developers is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot field issues and make real-time decisions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools is a plus.
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,500.00 per week
